Le Roy Airport would like to acknowledge the support of the community:
The Town of Le Roy for working to ensure that this valuable asset remains in the community to serve the aviation needs of the flying and non flying public.
Senator Mary Lou Rath, for her continuing support. Senator Rath succeeded in securing a grant for a fuel farm in 1999, and a new hangar built in December 2004. The fuel farm is up and running and serving the needs of pilots, intrastate and interstate, from the West coast (San Francisco, California) to the East coast (Bangor, Maine) and Canada! The new hangars are now 100% occupied, and generating much needed income for the ongoing financial feasibility of the LeRoy Airport.
Genesee County Legislator Jay Grasso, for his ongoing support.
Thanks to Senator Rath's and Legislator Grasso's efforts, our grant application for State funds for the following improvements is moving forward:
• Rehabilitation of Large Bulk Hangar
• Replacement of the Existing 10-Bay T-Hangar
• Installation of Security Cameras and Other Equipment
